Newest first.

2 November 2026

One account, two products, bought separately

The offer is no longer a single premium account that does everything. There are now two: a bandwidth plan, which is what you buy to download files other people have shared, and a storage plan, which is what you buy to keep your own files online. They are priced apart and sold apart.

This catches people out in one specific way. Buying a bandwidth plan does nothing for files you have uploaded, and buying a storage plan does nothing for your download speed. If you both download and share, those are two purchases.

The older arrangement, the one with twelve plan types and an unlimited storage option with files deleted after sixty days of no downloads, is gone. If you remember those numbers, they no longer describe anything you can buy.

2 November 2026

The free limits, and why the published numbers disagree

A free account still does a useful amount: three files a day at a capped speed on the download side, and four terabytes of space with a two gigabyte ceiling per file on the upload side.

What is worth knowing is that the operator’s own pages do not agree with each other on three of these numbers. Free download speed is given as 100 kb/sec on one page and 300 kilobits per second in the terms. The largest free upload is 2 GB on one page and 5 GB in the terms. And free file retention is seven days on one page, while the terms instead say a file is deleted if nobody downloads it for thirty days.

Where this matters, assume the stricter of the two. For anything you cannot afford to lose, assume neither and keep a second copy.

August 2025

When the site will not open at all

If the page does not even start loading, the cause is usually not the service. Internet providers in several countries block file hosting domains, and the block is applied in different ways: by refusing to resolve the name, by dropping the address, or by intercepting the connection and showing you a notice.

The error your browser shows tells you which kind it is. A message about the name not being found points at the first kind, and that one is the easiest to get round: change the resolver your device uses to a public one, for example 1.1.1.1, or 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, in the network settings of your connection. If instead the connection is reset or times out, the block is further down and changing the resolver will not help.

Checked against the service’s own published pages on 2 November 2026.

O que mudou recentemente e o que isso significa na prática para quem usa o serviço.
