Where two of those pages disagree, which happens more than once, both figures are given rather than an average.

The basics

What is it?

A service for storing files and sharing them with other people. It has been running since 2010.

Do I have to register to download?

No. But an account costs nothing, and without one you get the same caps as a free registered user: three files a day, a capped speed, one file at a time, and at least fifteen minutes between sessions.

What is the difference between a bandwidth plan and a storage plan?

A bandwidth plan is for taking files down. A storage plan is for putting your own files up and keeping them there. They are two separate products and they are bought separately. A bandwidth plan will not keep your files online, and a storage plan will not lift the speed cap on your downloads.

How fast is a free download?

Capped, and the service’s own pages do not agree on the number. The Buy Premium page says up to 100 kb/sec. The Terms and Conditions say 300 kilobits per second. Those are different units as well as different figures, so neither is repeated here as fact.

Files

What can I upload, and how large?

Any file type. On a free storage account the limit is 2 GB per file according to the Buy Premium page, while the terms quote 5 GB for ordinary users. With a paid plan, or over FTP, the limit is 80 GB.

How long do my files stay online?

On a paid storage plan, for as long as that plan is active. On a free account the two documents differ: the Buy Premium page says files are removed after seven days, the terms say a file must be downloaded at least once every thirty days or it is deleted automatically. Deleted files cannot be restored, so neither rule should be relied on for anything you care about.

How do I delete a file?

Every upload returns two links, one to download and one to delete. Keep the second one. Registered users can also delete from the file manager in the account area.

Can other people find my files?

Not by searching. Files are not listed anywhere and the service states that its pages are closed to search engine crawlers in robots.txt. Anyone who has the link can download, so the link is the key: treat it as one.

What is a one-time link?

A link that stops working after a single download. It is generated from the account area and it is the right tool when a file is meant for one person.

Accounts and payment

What does a paid account actually change?

Free

Paid

Speed

Capped

Not capped

Files per day

3

No set limit

Waiting and queues

Yes

No

Download managers, resume

No

Yes

Largest file you can take

300 MB

Up to 80 GB

Ads

Yes

No

How do I cancel, and does it renew on its own?

It renews on its own. The terms say billing repeats at each period until the account is cancelled. Cancellation and the switch for automatic renewal are both in the profile section, and can be used at any time.

Can I get a refund?

Only within 24 hours of the charge, and only if the account has not been used. A single upload or any traffic consumed closes that window.

What happens if a renewal payment fails?

The account goes back to the free limits. Files held under a storage plan then fall under the free retention rule, which is the part that catches people out.

Can I share my account with someone else?

No, and this one has teeth. The terms prohibit sharing login details with other customers, and say that an account used that way can be blocked with no refund. The same clause covers reselling a discounted plan.

I paid, but the site does not recognise me.

Almost always cookies. Check that the browser accepts them and that no extension is stripping them, and turn off any proxy. A paid session is recognised by cookie rather than by address, which is also why a shared address does not cause the usual false positives.

It says I have already downloaded too much, and I have not.

Free limits are counted by IP address. Behind a shared address, a carrier network or a proxy, someone else’s downloads land on your counter.

Security and availability

Three things are worth knowing, and they come from the service’s security page and from its service level agreement rather than from marketing copy.

Where the data sits

Database servers sit behind firewalls and are stated to be unreachable from the internet, with access only through the application server.

Credentials travel over an encrypted connection, described as 256 bit.

Databases are backed up regularly. Data is kept for the life of the account, and removal can be requested at any time.

The datacentre is described as guarded around the clock, with CCTV, card and biometric entry, intrusion detection, and fire detection and suppression.

What is promised on uptime

The service level agreement quotes 99.9% availability, around the clock. Note that the About us page quotes 99.99% instead, which is a different promise: the first allows about nine hours of downtime a year, the second about fifty minutes.

When support answers

The service level agreement gives 12:00 to 21:00 UTC, Monday to Friday, excluding Cyprus public holidays, with an answer normally within one working day. The About us page instead says nine to six, every day. Support is offered in English.

One thing no file host can promise, whatever the agreement says: that a file will still be there tomorrow. Anything you cannot lose belongs in a second place as well.

Access and connection

The site does not open at all

If it fails to resolve rather than failing to load, the block is usually at the DNS level. Changing the resolver to 1.1.1.1, or to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, is enough to tell one case from the other within a minute.

My upload speed is poor

Upload and download can both be shaped by the network you are on. Over FTP a client such as FileZilla will usually do better than the browser on large files, and remote upload avoids your own connection entirely by having the service fetch the file itself.

I have a copyright complaint

This site is not the service and cannot act on one. Complaints have to go to the operator, which publishes its own copyright and abuse procedure.

Checked against the service’s own pages on 2 November 2026. Limits, prices and policies are set by the operator and can change without notice.

As respostas vêm das páginas publicadas pelo próprio serviço.
